Hi, I'm Marina, the artist behind every piece you'll find here. I'm a former tropical botanist from Brazil, where I painted the flora of the Amazon rainforest. These days I'm happily settled on the Texas Gulf Coast, where the shorebirds, the blooms, and the easygoing island life have become my newest muse.

Every piece is painted by hand. From roseate spoonbills to sea turtles to the occasional bikini bulldog, each painting captures a small moment of life by the water. Find my prints, cards, and workbooks at markets around Galveston, or bring one of your own ideas to life with a custom commission.
