Learn to paint the seaside. No drawing skills or experience needed. This workbook walks you through 12 step-by-step tutorials of Gulf Coast beach favorites, each with its sketch already printed on real watercolor paper, so you can pick up a brush and start painting.
What's inside
Sea glass, sand dollar, sea turtle, lifeguard station, sailboat, laughing gull, Portuguese man o' war, blue crab, Indian blanket flower bag, sailfish, triton shell, and mahi-mahi.
How it works
Each project includes a finished reference painting, a color palette, and simple step-by-step instructions, alongside a pencil sketch printed on watercolor paper. Projects start simple and build gradually, so even first-time painters finish with a piece they're proud of.
About the artist
Every painting is an original watercolor by Marina dos Santos, a former tropical botanist from Brazil who now paints the birds, blooms, and beaches of Galveston, Texas. No AI was used to create any part of this product.
