Gulf Coast Blooms Watercolor Workbook for Beginners: 12 Step-by-Step Flower Tutorials

Learn to paint the flowers of the Gulf Coast. No drawing skills or experience needed. This workbook walks you through 12 step-by-step tutorials of tropical and coastal blooms, each with its sketch already printed on real watercolor paper, so you can pick up a brush and start painting.

What's inside

Red ginger, vinca, beach sunflower, beach morning glory, bougainvillea, plumeria, butterfly pea, seaside gentian, hibiscus, bird of paradise, heliconia, and orchid.

How it works

Each project includes a finished reference painting, a color palette, and simple step-by-step instructions, alongside a pencil sketch printed on watercolor paper. Projects start simple and build gradually, so even first-time painters finish with a piece they're proud of.

About the artist

Every painting is an original watercolor by Marina dos Santos, a former tropical botanist from Brazil who once painted the plants of the Amazon and now paints the blooms of Galveston, Texas. No AI was used to create any part of this product.
